The art to follow is SOCIAL COMMENTARY. It has no decorative purposes and because of its strong content it is meant to be viewed by a mature audience only. This series was painted by Grace Divine. It was her first series. It expresses her concern for the suffering of women as it relates to sexual concequences. This series has been shown through battered women's centers and it has received great acclaim by the media. Each painting also includes a POEM which when read by Grace Divine becomes 'performance art.' A signed copy of the poetry is available for a small fee.
