This painting represents transformation. However it is not the end for the
subject, me, is holding a key in my left hand which unlocks the
universes behind the cloak as seen via the geometric figures on the
cloak. Also my third eye is open which means that my soul is awake
and aware. This painting was featured in a documentary by the BBC.
Title:"If the walls could talk...
We pray, when confronted with the unknown. When all along, the
unknown is but one step away, one door, one moment, one breath.
If only we had the patience to understand that all answers are there,
were it not for the passage of time. And so, we can either be masters
of time, or enslaved by it. And in the end, it is only our attitude that
Title:"With a Fashionable Hat...
I was inspired to paint this painting by Gustav Klimt's portrait of Adele
Bloch-Bauer I. My painting is different. In my art, the horses behind
the sitter move, inspired by some elusive goal. And so, too our minds
are elusive to use. Where are at any one moment, it is a guess to most
of us. The painting asks us to ponder the state of our mind...

Title:"I am a friend to me!
This painting is inspired by Gustav Klimt's The Tree of Life, Stocklet Frieze.
This painting is generally inspired by the style. But is is more
surrealist. There are strange letterings in this painting. This lettering
represents the language of the unconscious as yet unknown to me.
Somehow, there is a part of me that knows my history from the
beginning of time. It somehow knows where I came from and where
I am going. And this knowledge is ALIEN... It is almost out of this
world. And so the words made with strange alien lettering express
this knowledge. The clips in my hair are also representative and
symbolic of this alien language."
Title:"The Welcoming of the Season...
Again here we see alien like symbolism throughout the painting."
Title:"Mi Hijita Linda Nina" This is a portrait of my daughter Nina. The
conscious energy of the universe is watching her. And one can see
the outline of two eyes in the sky.
Title:"The House of Spirits" There is a beautiful Latin American novel
with this title that inspired this book. The energy of the spirits is
surrounding the sitter. Every stroke representing a portal into another
Title:"I as an angel... I am an angel... I have been an angel... And I will be an angel."
This paitning is inspired by the painting by Gustav Klimt titled "Mäda
Primavesi." I made my paintings with acrylics and I much prefer
Klimt's rendition because I found the oil medium to be much more
sensual. I love Klimt's paintings because many are so feminine, so
gentle, so sensual. Only oil could achieve this effect. My painting
fails in comparison. And so it is a disappointment. In my painting as
well, I have me holding flowers with
the stems pointing upward and insinuating the shape of a vagina. I
don't know why I did that? The yellow backgrounds is like a sea of
oozing energy. In that ocean there are symbols. Eyes, for example.
Who, or more appropriately, what is watching me? And what do the
flowers by the groin area mean? All that I know is that at the end, I
was inspired by Klimt's paintings because I find them to be so
beautiful. They are music to my eyes.
