This lettering represents the language of the unconscious as yet unknown to me. Somehow, there is a part of me that knows my history from the beginning of time. It somehow knows where I came from and where I am going. And this knowledge is ALIEN... It is almost out of this world. And so the words made with strange alien lettering express this knowledge. Title:"Virginal" This paitning is inspired by the painting by Gustav Klimt titled "Mäda Primavesi." I made my paintings with acrylics and I much prefer Klimt's rendition because I found the oil medium to be much more sensual. I love Klimt's paintings because many are so feminine, so gentle, so sensual. Only oil could achieve this effect. My painting fails in comparison. And so it is a disappointment. In my painting as well, I have me holding flowers with the stems pointing upward and insinuating the shape of a vagina. I don't know why I did that? The yellow backgrounds is like a sea of oozing energy. In that ocean there are symbols. Eyes, for example. Who, or more appropriately, what is watching me? And what do the flowers by the groin area mean? All that I know is that at the end, I was inspired by Klimt's paintings because I find them to be so beautiful. They are music to my eyes.
